Yuan Jinhua

Yuan Jinhua works in Zhejiang Academy of painting, a national first-class artist, a doctor of Fine Arts in China Academy of fine arts, and a member of China Artists Association. He has been listed as a Chinese artist in the art collection and recording project "record today for the future", which is jointly sponsored by the American Academy of Asian culture, the library of Congress and the national folklore center. His work "meteorology" took part in the theme exhibition "surface and trace" of the 57th Venice Biennale in Italy. "Sea of clouds" was selected for the charity auction in the summer of 2018 at the Foundation Beyeler in Basel, Switzerland. This is the first Chinese artist selected for charity auction in the history of Bayer foundation. His works have been collected by China Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, China National Museum, Zhejiang Art Museum, Eckenstein-Geigy foundation and many art institutions. Now living and working in Hangzhou.
